Howdy folks! I had fun with this one this week. I had a very busy week/weekend studying/cramming for Riverine Reunion. I am playing in four different bands this year and had six practices this week, four of which were on Saturday & Sunday. I had the boys over Saturday evening to get ready for my final ‘solo’ set and when we had finished I said, “I still have a tune to record and turn in this week”. Brian & Andrew stuck around. I played it for them once, we played it together once, then hit record on my phone. This is the result. I dig the low-fi feel combined with natural reverb from these 20' high ceilings. I've been playing with those two guys for decades and it never ceases to amaze me at their talent. Thanks as always for following along & have a great week! The time to let bygones be bygone Is apparently here The silence that piled on Year after year Oh I tried to stop it all Only to stumble and fall If I can’t be by you I’ll just be bygone Left on the table Floating on ice Gifted upon us some solid advice If only we’d heard it before We had started a war If I can’t be by you I’ll just be bygone We dug up the past Left down at the shore Sins of the father Too hard to ignore I considered it all But it wasn’t my call If I can’t be by you I’ll just be bygone
